While there is no external academic research directly related to Trinity Street’s investment philosophy per se, this short piece looks at the independent corroboration for some of the proven psychological and other biases in stock markets which we believe cause our investment approach to work.

Espionage, Influence, Murder and War!

At a recent investor conference, Trinity Street spoke about the internal biases and external influences that, at best, subtly affect how we make decisions and, at worst, have caused truly terrible blunders to be made by important decision makers. We take a look at how bad decisions can be made by people who should know better and consider, frankly, whether our way of investing offers us any protection from these mistakes.
