Richard Bruce, Founding Partner & Portfolio Manager
Richard is the Founding Partner of Trinity Street Asset Management, with over 25 years experience in fund management. Previously at GLG, he started and sole managed the GLG Performance Fund, which was ranked no. 2 of 125 global equity funds by Feri Trust over 5 years. Prior to this he spent 5 years as a Japan specialist in Tokyo with Jardine Fleming, and 6 years as a European specialist with Rowe Price Fleming in London.
Ed Bell, Partner and Portfolio Manager
Ed joined Trinity Street Asset Management in November 2007 after 15 years at Cazenove & Co and its successor JP Morgan Cazenove. Prior to joining Trinity Street he was responsible for the firm’s industrial and then technology research. He was made a partner of Cazenove in 2000 and Managing Director in 2003.
Sarah Lavers, Partner and Portfolio Manager
Sarah began her financial career as a European research analyst at Swiss Bank Corporation and was subsequently appointed Head of Research at Schroder Securities. Under her aegis, Schroder Securities became an emerging markets research pioneer, providing Southern European and then Latin American analysis. She then joined three fellow directors leaving Schroder Securities, to became a founding partner of LatInvest. LatInvest quickly grew to become one of the top three ranked Latin American equity houses with offices in London, New York and Geneva, prior to its sale to BBVA. Following a move to early stage venture capital with a strong IT focus and several board positions in Sydney, Sarah joined NewSmith Capital Asset Management as a European portfolio manager in 2007, where she remained until 2012.
